Deck the Halls

There’s no greeting more festive than arriving at a front door to find it decorated with a decadent Christmas wreath. This year’s designs are even more glamourous, adorned with metallic pinecones and foliage in a broad spectrum of shades. Throughout 2017 metallic accents have been a hot trend for interiors, with shimmery wallpapers and fabrics, molten finishes, metal details to furniture and flooring plus an abundance of lustrous decorative accessories. Our three favourite wreaths for a touch of glitz this Christmas are Larry Walshe’s Metallic Serenity Wreath, Gisela Graham’s Gold Glitter Rosehip Wreath and A by Amara’s Silver & Brown Pinecone Wreath (all shown above). We wish you all a joyous Christmas full of sparkle and look forward to an exciting 2018!

Back to Black

Whilst brass continues to compete with chrome when it comes to bathroom fittings, black finishes have also been getting a look in much to our delight.

Some of our current favourite bathroom designs are based on a monochrome palette with statement matt black accents complimenting calm white marbles. Combine black taps and shower controls with other dark accents including mirror frames, shower trays, feature lighting and accessories such as candles and diffusers. Or, for the bolder amongst us, go for a few statement items such as a black freestanding bath.

We love the minimalist designs by Lusso Stone shown here along with the sophisticated three piece basin mixer by MGS and Systempool shower tray by Porcelanosa. For those looking for a more classic, paired back hint of black, try the Samuel Heath Style Moderne range with black gloss chrome levers as pictured.

Luxit Launch Party!

What a fantastic celebration!

Thank you to all our clients, suppliers and local businesses for supporting us – it was a real pleasure to welcome you to our newly refurbished studio.

We had a fabulous afternoon of great conversation over bubbles and canapés, catching up with old friends and also making lots of lovely new ones. We hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did (especially those who carried on into the evening, just a short stumble away at the Four Horseshoes pub!).

For those who were unable to join us this time, don’t worry there will be plenty more events in the diary for 2017 – we look forward to seeing you then!

On Trend with Blush

When we first started looking at the Luxit brand palette, little did we know that the blush tones we were working with would soon become the latest colour trend and even pave the way on the Spring Summer 2017 catwalks, both in clothing and make-up alike.

We selected blush for its sophistication and warmth, choosing to pair it with soft greys and deep blue. Plus an accent of rose gold for a touch of understated luxury.
